GRAMMY NOMINATED SINGER/SONGWRITER
Laura White is a renowned, singer song-writer originally from Greater Manchester, now based in London. From early beginnings of being in a soul band with Mark Ronson on production and writing her own songs on piano from a young age, she has now lent her songwriting skills to date, to the likes of Example, Paloma Faith and Naughty Boy. She now has over a million monthly listens on Spotify after her latest collaborations with Sondr, One Bit and Mistajam.

Laura works alongside London’s top production teams, first and foremost as an artist and also writing for various other established artists and is now signed in her first major publishing deal with Peer Music UK. She followed the deal signing with the release of her most recent EP ‘The Painted Door’ to widespread critical acclaim when it entered the Soul/Rnb chart at number 4.
Known also for penning Grammy nominated track ‘New York Raining’ for Rita Ora, which featured on US TV show Empire, she also collaborated with Galantis, both writing and featuring on their smash top 20 chart hit ‘Love on Me’.
Over the last year, Laura has also feat on Bugzy Malone’s ‘B Inspired’ album with soulful, stand out track ‘Streetlife’ both of which Laura wrote and featured on alongside fellow musicians Rag n Bone Man and JP Cooper. Her single ‘Heartbreaker’ also was a firm favourite on Radio 1 Xtra feat Ms Banks. Recently topping the charts globally at number 5 with ‘Ce Soir’ Laura feat alongside French DJ Hugel and is now releasing monthly singles of her own, original, soul-inspired tracks and is finishing her hugely anticipated debut album.
Laura recently featured on Radio 2's playlisted hit song “Ultimatum” alongside Radio 1 DJ Mistajam - song written by MNEK and Becky Hill.
Laura has also found herself as a writer of musicals, films and TV shows with her song 'Happiness', featuring on the US hit TV show 'The Bold Type'.
Her song “Forever a Star” was the theme tune for a film adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's '4 Kids and IT” starring Michael Caine and Russel Brand. Plus, she has worked alongside hit writer Andrew Bissell in Nashville; Laura and Andrew collaborated on many TV/Film appearances including a 2020 AT&T advert featuring Missy Elliot.
She also recently wrote the US top 40 dance hit 'Let Me Take You There' and featured her killer vocals on Sam Bird & Papa Zeus hit 'Run to You'.
This stream of work and varied features have set Laura up in her own, authentic lane of 'real Northern Soul' - lending her songwriting magic to all genres and has lifted her Spotify numbers to 1.4 million monthly listeners!
